PURPLE HEART MEMORIAL
  
The Purple Heart Chapter 724 of Marion County has set a new monument for all Purple Heart    
   recipients in the counties of Harrison, Marion, Taylor, and Monongalia.  In order to raise money
   to help with this effort, we are selling bricks to honor each veteran who has a Purple Heart
   that's entitled to a brick.  The recipients must have lost their lives or were wounded in combat
   in any war.  Bricks sell for $50.00.  You may put the name, branch of service, date, on the
   brick.  The bricks will be installed on the ground around the monument.  You may see the
   memorial at the Marion County Vietnam Veterans Memorial at the entrance to East Marion Park
